These resources are all web-based so can be accessed off campus. Use your network username and password to log in to FAME or ORBIS Very Large

Company and financial data on small, medium and large UK and Irish businesses. Includes profit and loss, balance sheet, ratios and trends, credit score and rating information (where available). FAME and Osiris have a similar interface, so once you have familiarised yourself with one, you should be able to use both.
To compare companies or groups of companies use the Peer Analysis option.

Fitch Connect is an innovative, robust and comprehensive credit analytics platform that provides access to Fitch ratings, research, financial data and analytics. FitchConnect is good for banking data, replacing the database Bankscope, which is no longer available. You will need to "Request a trial" and register your Brunel email address to gain access.

Orbis Very Large This link opens in a new window
Financial, and other, data on over half a million companies internationally, including line items for banks and insurance companies. Financial data is available for up to 30 years. Includes public companies (for which stock data is available), and many very large private companies. Searches can be made for individual companies and companies that meet your criteria; peer comparison and other tools are available. This is a Moody’s database, and is on the same platform as the UK company database FAME.
