When conducting specialist research, the Library may not always stock everything you need. If this happens, you have a number of options:
Before you visit another library
If you do plan to visit another library, please check first of all that we do not have the item you need. Advice on using the library can be found on our Finding Resources page. Alternatively, please ask a member of staff at the Helpdesk or contact the Subject Liaison Librarian for your Department.
Remember, if the item you need is on a reading list, we will make every effort to purchase this for the Library, so please let us know the details.

Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
Access: The Library team welcomes CSP members and health professionals and members of the public with an interest in physiotherapy and/or rehabilitation. All visitors require an appointment to access the Library. Appointments must be booked one working day in advance. More details on the visitors' page.

Royal College of Occupational Therapists
Access: The Library is available to all members of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. Please bring your membership card when you visit the Library. Occupational therapists and OT students who are not members of RCOT must join the RCOT before using the Library. Non-members who are not occupational therapists, but have an interest in occupational therapy, are welcome to visit the Library by appointment and on payment of a £10 access charge.

King's Fund: The King's Fund's Information and Knowledge Services provide a unique and free source of information on health and social care policy and management. We can help with literature searches and information queries online, over the phone or in person at our information centre.

Wellcome Library: The Wellcome Library is free and open to anyone interested in the history of health and medicine. You can become a member by applying for a three-year Library Card.
