- ASME - The American Society of Mechanical Engineers
ASME, is an international developer of Codes and Standards, including its Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
- ASTM - American Society for Testing and Materials
Has over 12,500 standards used globally
- BSI - British Standards Institution
The UK national standards body
- European Cooperation for Space Standardization
The European Cooperation for Space Standardization is an initiative established to develop a coherent, single set of user-friendly standards for use in all European space activities. Choose the "Standards" option from the main menu. Note you will need to register with ESA to access these standards.
- Eurocodes
The EN Eurocodes are a series of 10 European Standards, EN 1990 - EN 1999, providing a common approach for the design of buildings and other civil engineering works and construction products. They are the recommended reference for technical specifications in public contracts.
- IEC - International Electrotechnical Commission
Offers over 10,000 standards specialising in electronic and electrical goods.
- IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
Electrical Engineering standards publisher
- IPC
Originally known as Institute for Printed Circuits - the IPC is a global association for electronics manufacturing and offers over 300 standards on the electronics manufacturing supply chain

- SAE - Society of Automobile Engineers
