We know how hard it can be to find the right study space, which is why we are extending our Library opening hours during the Summer Exams.
We'll be opening at 9am on Monday 5 May (Bank Holiday Monday) and staying open 24/7 until the end of the Summer Exams on Friday 23 May when we'll close at 7pm.
You can get help and support 24/7 with our webchat service, LibChat.
You'll find our red "Chat & FAQs" box available on every page of the Library website. Click on it to find the answer to over 300 of your most frequently asked questions, submit a ticket to our Customer Service team or click Chat Now and speak to a live operator.
Not sure what you want to ask? That's okay too. Go to LibAnswers to browse the most popular questions, check out what other students have been asking lately or search our entire database of FAQs.
Did you know you can visit other libraries? This means that even if you go away for vacation you'll still have access to libraries close by.
SCONUL
Brunel students can access other academic libraries through the SCONUL access scheme. This scheme grants undergraduates reference access to higher education libraries across the UK and Ireland. To sign up or find out more visit SCONUL Access | SCONUL.
Remember to check the website of the library you're planning to visit to find out their opening times and joining procedures.
University of London
In addition to any libraries participating in the SCONUL access scheme, you can also access other University of London libraries. To find the full list of University of London members visit Our federation | University of London. Click on the members to find out how you can access their library as a University of London student.
Public Libraries
Public libraries can be great places to study. You can find your nearest public library at Local library services - GOV.UK.
