Front cover for Journal of Pressure Vessel Technology

Journal of Pressure Vessel Technology
The Journal of Pressure Vessel Technology is the premier publication for the highest-quality research and interpretive reports on the design, analysis, materials, fabrication, construction, inspection, operation, and failure prevention of pressure vessels, piping, pipelines, power and heating boilers, heat exchangers, reaction vessels, pumps, valves, and other pressure and temperature-bearing components, as well as the nondestructive evaluation of critical components in mechanical engineering applications.
Front cover for Journal of Surveying Engineering

Journal of Surveying Engineering
The Journal of Surveying Engineering covers the broad spectrum of surveying and mapping activities encountered in modern geomatics practice. It includes traditional topics such as construction surveys, geodetic and control surveys, photogrammetric mapping, engineering layout, deformation measurements, precise alignment, boundary surveying, adjustment computations, uncertainty analysis, and hydrographic surveying.
Front cover for Upstream Oil and Gas Technology

Upstream Oil and Gas Technology
Upstream Oil & Gas Technology is an online-only journal which aims to bridge the gap between the engineering and the science of sustainable natural gas and petroleum exploration and production.

Finding books in the library

You can view a map of the library showing roughly where a book is on the shelf, by using the "See map" link in the full record view:

A screen grab from the library catalogue showing the full record display for a book. Highlighted is the "See map" link.

Once you click the link a new tab will open in your web browser showing the floor the book is on, and a red dot will flash showing you roughly where the book is.

How to read shelf mark numbers

The Library of Congress Classification System is used to organise the books on the shelf. This is a combination of letters and numbers that refer to specific subject areas.

Find a book using Library Search, or the Library Catalogue, and use its call number to find it on the shelf.
